SE Student, Claudio Nucera (Prof. Lanza di Scalea, advisor) was selected for the "Best Structural Engineering Poster" at the recent 2010 Research Expo. Nucera's poster was entitled "Nonlinear Ultrasonic Guided Waves for Health Monitoring of Prestressing Tendons in Post-Tensioned Concrete Structures." Ming-Chen Hsu (Prof. Bazilevs, advisor), received an Honorable Mention for his poster entitled "Computational Fluid-Structure Interaction for Wind Energy Applications.
