Professor Patrick Fox has been appointed to the Board of Governors of the Geo-Institute of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), effective October 2014. The Geo-Institute is one of ASCE’s eight specialty institutes and conducts all ASCE activities related to the geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering profession. Membership includes 11,000+ individual members and over 60 organizational members. The Board of Governors consists of seven to nine members who are appointed to provide leadership for the institute.
