Professors David Benson (left) and Yuri Bazilevs (right) were recently selected to receive awards from the International Association for Computational Mechanics (IACM). Prof. Benson was named to receive the IACM Fellow Award, and Prof. Bazilevs was named to receive the IACM Young Investigator Award by the IACM Award Committee. The committee stated these awards are "a reflection of the high regard that our community has of your work and contributions." The awards will be presented at the World Congress of Computational Mechanics in Sidney, Australia in July, 2010. Congratulations to both Professors for their remarkable achievements!
