Ming-Chen Hsu, an SE doctoral student working with Prof. Yuri Bazilevs, received the Best Student and Young Investigator Poster Award for his joint work with Prof. Bazilevs and collaborators from Carnegie Mellon University, SINTEF ICT, Norway, and The University Hospital of Northern Norway. The poster was titled "Computational vascular fluid-structure interaction: Methodology and application to cerebral aneurysms" and was presented at the 1st International Conference on Computational Simulation in Congenital Heart Disease (CS-CHD 2010) held on February 26-27, 2010 in La Jolla.
