A multidisciplinary team of engineers at UC San Diego has been awarded a $3.6 million grant from the Air force Research Laboratory to make the design and risk assessment of next-gen Air Force vehicles more efficient. Full Story

Emily Killeen, a master's student in structural engineering, was sidelined from the pitch by consecutive knee injuries in her third and fifth years at UC San Diego. But she persevered through multiple surgeries and rehab, coming back to play last month. Full Story
